NASA performs critical work in advanced technological systems to support an airspace that is aligned with service providers through an area called data and reasoning fabric (DRF).
The DRF work has the goal of enabling the data exchange and management of the volumes of data that will be required for advanced air mobility (AAM) operations.
Projects in this area may focus on:
- Verifying integration between data and reasoning services with simulated vehicles accessing the data and reasoning services.
- Integrating external data service and external reasoning service.
- Analyzing data-related system integration challenges and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata.
