NAMS-2 leadership team members bring extensive subject matter expertise and experience advancing aviation and technology innovation in support of and in collaboration with NASA and Ames Research Center, the Federal Aviation Administration, companies and academic organizations.

Dr. Karen Gundy-Burlet, Ph.D., PMP
Program Manager
Dr. Gundy-Burlet has overall responsibility for the execution of the NAMS-2 contract. She brings a long and distinguished career at Ames as a civil servant and contractor. She has directed personnel and technical activities for NAMS, PESS II and Simlabs contracts contract at Ames and served as a technical area lead in the NASA Ames Aviation Systems Division.
Natalie Condon
Deputy Program Manager for Operations
Condon manages NAMS-2 contract administration, financial and human resources requirements. She has held several support roles at Ames, including project management for the Air Traffic Management –eXploration (ATM-X) project, Aviation Systems software facilities, Airspace Operations & Safety Program, AF Division and business operations for NAMS.
Tom Davis
Chief Technologist
Davis assists Dr. Gundy-Burlet with technical and management functions on the NAMS-2 contract. He brings extensive expertise in collaborative ATM, UAS, AAM and airspace automation technologies and 36 years of experience at Ames directing quality control and technical research in airspace automation, including integration of UAS into the NAS. He played a key role in crafting NASA’s pathbreaking AAM market studies and supporting NASA’s AAM concepts.

Alyssa Edwards
Technical Group Manager, Research Concepts
Edwards leads NAMS-2 contract tasks related to research concepts. She brings extensive strategic planning and team leadership experience. She has served as a program analyst, enterprise architect, and task lead for the FAA’s NextGen NAS Enterprise Architecture and Requirements Services Division for the past 8 years.
Keenan Roach
Technical Group Manager, Digital Transformation & Security
Roach leads NAMS-2 contract tasks for the Air Traffic Management Exploration project. He brings operational knowledge of air traffic management from working on projects at NASA’s North Texas Research Station for over 20 years, 10 of which included serving as team manager. He has worked on several successful NASA/FAA projects including the Center TRACON Automation System (CTAS), Precision Departure Release Control, Airspace Technical Demonstration 2 (ATD2), and now the Digital Information Platform. He also served as program manager for NASA on the FAA’s Alliance for System Safety of UAS through Research Excellence (ASSURE) program working with the FAA and several universities to address safety concerns related to air traffic management of unmanned arial systems.
Easter Wang
Technical Group Manager, Integration of AAM in the NAS
Wang leads NAMS-2 contract tasks related to the integration of advanced air mobility into the National Airspace System. She brings extensive management and team leadership experience on NASA air traffic management R&D projects at Ames for more than 20 years. She led the Aero technical team for the NAMS project.
