Crown’s NAMS-2 project team plans Oct. 10 Open House, tech talks and webinars to introduce NAMS staff to project

ARLINGTON, VA – Crown Consulting Inc., prime contractor for the NASA Academic Mission Services 2 (NAMS-2) contract at Ames Research Center, plans a variety of events to recruit, introduce and on-board aerospace research professionals interested in a role supporting Ames.

Talent recruitment will begin with an open house on Oct. 10 for staff who worked for the predecessor NAMS contract. The event will introduce them to the NAMS-2 project team and opportunities within the contract. Those interested in attending should email nams-2@crown.com.

The Crown team also seeks aerospace engineers, data scientists, software engineers, researchers and others from a range of disciplines who bring a passion for aerospace and advancing NASA’s mission.

A variety of additional events will follow to help NAMS-1 talent successfully apply for positions with NAMS-2. A series of Tech Talks will convene researchers and staff to explore contract work under development across the scope of the contract.

The five-year, $121 million NAMS-2 contract provides aerospace and technology research and development support for NASA Ames, located in California’s Silicon Valley. The Crown team expands Ames’ capabilities with expertise, staffing and services that advance fundamental research and development, field-test deployments and operational missions.
