Dr. Milton Cordeiro developed cardiac health assay methodology for the Exploration Medical Magnetically-Enhanced Electrochemical sensor. Cordeiro’s work could provide the ability for long-duration spaceflight crew to perform Earth-independent health monitoring and screening by detecting biomarkers for wide-spectrum clinical diagnosis and medical research.
